Tell us about yourself:

I've been deeply immersed in the world of coffee since 2012, when I opened my own first café in the heart of Stockholm. Since then, my passion for coffee has only grown stronger.

In the past years, I've had the privilege of serving countless wonderful individuals. Beyond serving, I've also delved into coffee trainings and product development, relishing every opportunity to explore new avenues within the industry.

My journey into competitive barista championships began with the Swedish Barista Championship, where I've had the honor of participating twice. Remarkably, both times I've had the privilege of clinching the title, earning the opportunity to represent Sweden on the global stage in Athens. As I prepare to my second journey to the World Barista Championship in Busan, I feel a deep sense of pride and gratitude. It's an incredible privilege to showcase the excellence of Swedish coffee culture alongside the world's finest baristas.

I am looking forward to the competition, and the opportunity to share my passion for coffee with enthusiasts from around the globe.

What are you excited to do while you visit Busan?

Beyond the competition venue, I am excited to discover Busan's rich history and breathtaking landmarks. Whether it's strolling along the picturesque beaches, visiting ancient temples, or wandering through bustling markets, every moment promises to be an adventure.

Additionally, I am keen to connect with fellow coffee enthusiasts and professionals from around the world, exchanging ideas, experiences, and perhaps even forging lifelong friendships. The World Barista Championship not only celebrates the art of coffee but also fosters a sense of community among its participants.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

I have a deep appreciation for marketing, especially when approached through the lens of sustainable consumption and quality-driven practices.

In addition to my interest in marketing, I have a great interest in sports, photography and film. Getting involved in sports not only keeps me physically active but also instills discipline, teamwork and resilience.

Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize or who helped you to prepare for the WBC?

I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement from my family.

I also extend my heartfelt thanks to my dear friends, Matt and Sierra, whose encouragement and have been invaluable as I prepared for this competition.

Additionally, I am deeply appreciative of my dedicated team at Nestle Professional, whose expertise and guidance have played a crucial role in refining my skills and refining my approach.
